Problem with texture rezolution of texture when using spotlight? [Answered]

Hi

I am using spotlight to project an eye texture onto a model. Once i have painted the projected texture onto the model and I am happy with it, I press new texture, new from polypaint to make a texture map of the model, and the eye suddenly looks pixelated and low rez, the rest of the model texture looks fine. The eye looks fine before i make a texture map, but not after. I am quite new to this and am at a loss as to why this is happening. The eye texture i import into zbrush is a hi rez/large image, and like I said goes on fine before i make a texture map. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are making a texture from polypaint, the quality of the result will depend on the way your UVs are laid out and the size of the texture map. It sounds as though you are using a small size map. Set the Tool>UV Map>UV Map Size slider to a higher value and see if you get better results.
