Problem with smart resym

Hello!

I’ve been sculpting a bit on a model, and now i realised that some things were assymetrical.
I’ve tried smart resym, with everything selected. I get som very wierd artifacts!
What can be a possible solution? I’ve seen that there are some info about this on the internet, but I haven’t found a solution.

Any ideas?

I’ve tried many different things, including only selecting part of the model and “set pivot”. Everytime I have to wait about 40 minutes for the computer to calculate. Something must be wrong.

I think I made a breakthrough.

I selected half the model, then Subtool --> Split masked points
Then geometry -> mirror and weld

I think you have do have the same number of polygons on both sides (kind of) in order for smart resym to work. I must have ****ed that up somehow.
