problem with sculpting and painting

Hello.

I have a problem. I’m sculpting and poly painting a bat wing model. I’m using the standard brush with a rect stroke. The problem is that when i scuplt one side of the wing, the other (opposite) side is also sculpted, and in a negative value. No overlapping UV’s on the model.

Any idea why is this happening?

In the Brush palette, turn on Back Face Masking

Thanks for your reply. That solved the problem.
Still, i noticed that with this option negative values (zsub) don’t work. Am i doing domething wrong?
