problem with Remesh function in "Mannequins Part 2" tutorial

Hi !

I am doing the Mannequins Part 2 tutorial in the the Classroom

I am having trouble with the Remesh function. I seem to have the same settings but my results (to the left) are different. It seems that my model only Remeshes the spheres and not the connecting parts.

Can someone please tell when how to adjust this so I get the same results as in the tutorial.

You could try selecting the top subtool and see if that makes a difference.

thanks for the suggestion Doug. I did have the top subtool (the zsphere) selected when I Remeshed. it produced the second subtool (the skin), which is what I am showing on the left…

attached is another image which shows the tutorial dog (right) with the second subtool selected

the problem seems to be that my remesh function is only recognizing the spheres, and missing the connecting parts of the mannequin. any ideas how to change this?
