Problem with perspektive Zbrush - 3Ds Max

Hi all,

I have problem and I don’t know what to do. I made head in zbrush (and it’s looks good, since I was working by real reference), but when I import head in 3Ds Max for the rest of the model and render it got like it is swollen, puffy, not very much, like 10-20% but enough to “destroy” character and similarity :(. I’m using vray camera, I’m trying all settings but without success :(.

Is there some solution? Maybe i’m doing something wrong? :frowning:

I still didn’t put pictures because I’m not allowed to show (everything is still in progress it is not personal work), but I can upload something else, or to ask for permission and upload this, I’m kind a desperate right now. I really have headahce… I love zbrush, but this… I simple cannot finish work like this… :frowning:

Thank you in advance

Best Regards

sounds like you need to adjust your FOV. You can find this inside of “draw”.

Tried, still can’t get it. I will try with default camera in max…

Thank you :+1:

It does sound like an issue with your view (FOV). Try turning perspective on and off in Zbrush to see if you’re getting a similar look. A large object will distort in 3D programs like Max but will look normal in Zbrush. This is because Zbrush will usually scale a large object to fit within Zbrushes grid system. When it exports back out it resizes it back to its normal size, which may be too large in other 3D software, like Max. When viewed or render they can get extremely distorted due to FOV (field of view) and/or size in comparison to the camera.
