I’m using zbrush 4 and 3ds max 2009 and normal maps works fine in max. But i’ve tried it in max 2012 and it doesn’t work. It is cluttered, like there is some problems with uv coordinates.
How to make normal maps work in max 2012? Sorry if it’s a wrong forum. I don’t know if it is a problem with zbrush or 3ds max.

I think the problem is one of three things.
1: Max may be changing the Gamma of the Normal map. Go into Customize >Preferences and navigate to the Gamma and LUT Tab. Change the Input Gamma to 1
2: You need Tangent enabled in the Normal Map setting in Zbrush before you generate the map
3: You need to flip the Green (or Y) channel in your bump normal map setting in Max, but if you are using GoZ this is done automatically.
