im trying to put two diferent materials that i got on the web into two diferent subtools.
I shoose the first material and click on fill object, then i select another subtool, go to my new material that i got on the web and when i select it, the other subtool receives this new material again…
if i use the default material from zbrush, it works fine? What do i need to do?

Materials occupy slots in the Material palette. When you load a material, it replaces whatever is already in that slot. So you should choose a second material before you load the second one into ZBrush.
Also, you’ll need to fill each object with the appropriate material. Otherwise, the SubTools remain “live” which means that they adopt the currently-selected material every time you change it. To fill a SubTool, turn on Draw>M and then press Color>Fill Object.
