I’d ask this on a maya board but I never seem to get a decent answer (if any).
I uvmapped a model in zb, then sent it back to maya. I select the source model then the old model and transfer attributes in the mesh menu to transfer the uv maps. Seems to work ok, but then ever time I delete the model I imported from zbrush, all the uv maps get deleted. I know that they get created because I see them in the texture editor, and I see the number of UVs go up in the window. I am guessing maybe it is something to do with some weird mode I am in or something, but as you can imagine it is a vert frustrating problem. Anyone happen to know what the deal is?
