problem related to normal map

I work on putting texture and detail to my character in z-brush and it looks pretty nice when I rendered it in the program. However, when I export the character and set normal map and texture and rendered it in Maya, it turns out to be terrible, doesn’t look as good as to what I did in Z brush at all. Is there any way to make the quality of the exported character in Maya to be as close as to the one in Z brush? Thank if make a reply if there is any difficulty in understanding my question.
