Iv had some problem reimporting my base mesh after UVing, after importing it and increasing the subdivision there are some crazy deformations.
I did some test and if I take the OBJ exported from ZBrush, open it in Maya (as if I were about to UV it) and export it without making any changes then when I take it to Zbrush it screws up the higher subdivisions.
Straight exporting the OBJ from Zbrush and then reimporting it and the higher Subdivions are fine. I cant open the obj, UV it and save it because I get the error “The requested file type does not have write support.”
I hope i explained it clearly enough its late,
any solutions or work arounds welcome.
