Hi, hope everyone’s well
My name is Jarno from the Netherlands and I’m new to ZbrushCentral! I’ve been active on a couple of C4D fora for a few years though. Haven’t posted before due to the fact that I didn’t think my skills where good enough. But from now on I certainly will!
Anyway, I recently finished my first full body character. The base mesh of the handsome head, which is my own, was made with Agisoft Photoscan and it required a lot of cleaning up in Zbrush. Btw, did I mention I LOVE Zbrush? No? Well, I really do.
I’ll summarize the rest since I don’t think people will read through long pieces of text anyway.
The base meshes for the rest of the character were made in Zbrush and Cinema 4D. I used Cinema 4D for retopology too except for the gloves and pants, I used ZRemesher on those.
I used Zbrush to texture the head by projecting photo’s and painting over it.
After unwrapping in C4D I went to Substance Painter for texturing and rendering in Marmoset Toolbag.
The outfit was inspired by the movie Last Knights with Clive Owen.
For a more detailed descripition I suggest you read my article if you’re interested
There’s also a turntable animation in this article. Posted it here but it didn’t support Vimeo plugin
