I dig the lighting. What did you render it in?

WoW very good can you explain how did you do the textures ??

Its done so well, its richly textured with complex armor, It kind of reminds me of some oldschool Zbrush monster portraits. But its styled so interestingly, its childlike proportions give it a tremendous appeal.

I also would like to see a breakdown of this. Textures most importantly =)

HAHAHA!!! Awesome sculpt. cant wait to see the other characters. Give us some WIPs next time. would be tremendously helpful to us all to see the stages of your work.

Keep it up!

WOW fantasy being my favorite, this mite be my favorite model at this website. shows you can sculpt details, and be extremely creative with design considering you likely invented the character. this is one character that i insist be animated sooner than later, but then again, if u have 5 more designs that ur going to sculpt, and they will be just as good as this one , then sculpting them takes priority. good luck and grats

I’d love to see more characters like this in games. He’s not a traditional creature like an orc of an elf, but he’s just as cool and a lot more original.

i agree, not much useful if you dont post the steps or help people.

Hey guys!

Frontpage! Thanks admins, moderators, etc!

Here’s some pics from the WIP stage. I’m at work, I’m going at home now, I will put more WIPs tomorrow. Really thanks guys!

very cool model. also thanks for sharing some of your workflow process.

Well deserved top-row honors. Looking forward to the other five.
What type of texture did you use for the leggings?

Congrats with the honor of toprow! Thanks for the breakdown and goodluck with the next characters.

Great model - and particularly stunning metal armour!

Great concept and execution! Good choice of backgrounds to highlight this grand work. So, using all that you’ve done here I’m very excited to see the rest of your gang! :+1:

:+1: 很帅的怪物!
 好像还透着点可爱。

On second look I think I prefer your second choice of background, because the first background is busy and I think it detracts from the detail of the character slightly.

Very nice work. Cool looking character, love the detail and the way you tied it all together. Nice presentation except for the first image.

Great character design and execution! Very nicely done. It’s nice to see someone else using Brazil too. Did you have problems with the displacement maps in Brazil?

The armor looks fantastic.
I was wondering what was done in Zbrush.
