Primitives!

A really stupid question.
Lately trying to append primitives to my model brings them in as 3d objects without the option to change their parameters. I find I have to handle them separately before appending them to the main model. That cant be right? What am I missing? I thought I used to be able to append, initialize, then make 3d. Its something very basic but I cant find it in the docs.

Thanks in advance

Primitives are automatically converted to polymeshes when appending (it’s been like that for a while now). If you need to use a subtool as reference then you can do it the other way about - start with the primitive and append the reference. The primitive will keep its properties and then you can append it to the main model when you’re ready.

Thanks Marcus!
Speedy as usual.
