Primeval: NewWorld

Hi everyone, just wanted to share a few images of my Zbrush work from the episodic TV series, Primeval: NewWorld. It was awesome being awarded the task of designing and creating the Dino’s. Most of these are works in progress screenshots straight out of Zbrush, but my final versions can be seen in my latest demo reel on my website (www.adammuratoff.com). Hope you guys like them! Cheers!

All I can say is Wow!
Watch the demo reel!

Some great work. Bizarely, the American (or is it Canadian) version of Primevil does so much better in the effects, and your work is awesome. However, makes all the same mistakes the UK version made. Quick, have a big gun/tranq/tazer, and when we see a dino, lets stand about until its too late to use it. Some very cute people on it though

I just love that second dino with the feathers … can you explain how you did those feathers ? are those zbrush ?

cheers man , you great artist , I whish I had one chance in atmosphere for primeavel vancouver ( maybe some more years of experience )

great models in you blog too…

Thanks guys for checking out my work!!

bfgnz - Thanks! Much appreciated!

Gordon Robb - Thank you! It is Canadian and all the vfx and filming takes place in and around Vancouver, BC.

wev3d - Thanks! The feathers in the still image above, I created using Fiber Mesh in Zbrush for fast Look Development, while the final animated versions of all the dinosaurs used Shave and a Haircut.

Cheers!

Outstanding work in skin and feathers… Awesome demo reel! :+1:
