previous camera view

Hi,

I’m working on a model, but I have transparency on my screen so that I can see through and use that for reference. I move my model around to check it, but can’t seem to figure out a way to go back to my previous view, so that I can continue sculpting and have it match up with my reference in the background.

I’ve googled zbrush previous view and have come up with nothing. Is there another name for it, or is this not possible?

thanks
Dave

You can use the Timeline to store a view as a keyframe.

these are great and that timeline one looks very interesting. I also just found this when searching for “undo camera MOVE”

http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/undo-history/

this seems to do the trick but it also leaves behind the static or locked geometry. Not sure why, but control-n gets rid of it.

THANKS!!!

I certainly use axis plugin. But for custom camera views it is really useful to use the ability to store cameras in: texture ->image plane or document->Zapplink. I think both work in similar ways.
Also both can be added to custom interfaces.
I tried in the past to use the timeline but it uses a bit too much screen space.

The first videos of the helmet tutorial in pixologic has very usefull ideas for image references.
