preventing zphere twist

I’m building an armature man using Zspheres and notice that when I move individual zspheres some twist and others don’t. the ones that do twist end up twisting the adaptive skin (preview). An example: the legs, I have a zsphere for the knees, one in between for the thighs and the hip. when I position the knee forward or backward there is no twisting, but when I move the zsphere represent the mass of the thigh forward or backward it twists and also twists the hip zsphere making a twist in the skin preview. Anyone know what is happening? thanks.

that’s just the way zspheres work.

if you want to maintain a certain angle you need to pay attention to the black and white sides of the spheres. These dictate the rotation angle and twist of the skin.

if you want o rotate one, hold down alt and click on it while in move. that will let you place each rotation the way you want.
