I am trying to put a system together to scan an object or draw it in 3D then print it in a MakerBot to then be used as a replacement for a wax model in the “LostWax” casting process. All of the ZBrush models I see would work well for this except I need to make them hollow with a skin thickness of 1/4" or less; is that possible to do within the ZBrush workspace? The program looks like an awesome tool to create the exterior look; I just need to know if I can selectively empty out the interior space.
tool.geometry.dynamesh.create shell.
Thanks for the quick response and such a “to the point” answer, I wish everything was this easy.
