Prehistoric beast

Hi this is my first time posting any of my work on zbrush. I am almost finished a model I am working on for my demo reel. It is of a prehistoric long necked rhino. This particular creature is fictional but there is an actual prehistoric mammal called an indricotherium that is part of the rhino family. I just slapped on some horns. I still want to add hair to the tail and ear tips. maybe add a mane.

I like it … he has a nice sense of weight about him, and the skin texturing is subtle and believable. Maybe add some more wrinkles to his neck and upper body? They look rather smooth. Nice post … welcome to ZBC. :+1:

Nice work! Im a total beginner to Z brush so please forgive this question if its to basic. How do you add bases like that to models and how do you get the shadows to fall on the base? Can it all be done in Z brush? Thanks and keep up the great work! ASW

The render was done in xsi. I first modeled it in xsi and brought it into zbrush to add the details then brought it back into xsi to do displacements.
