Practicing on Zbrushing

Well, I find it worse with the hair … I think it doesn’t serve the idea (to be meaner)
the hair look somewhat stylish for ur monster …

Cool feather alhpa.

I finished the flamingo and I m moving on posing the quadreped creature. Still trying to figure out what my next adventure in Zbrush would be???
Twitchmonkey:. thanks alot…I dont know about the type of feather on a flamingo I guess I should check this out too
Nourti:. Hahaha Ok then the hair wig will be taken off
Elliott Mitchell:. Thanks you can find that alpha in the Eagle head tutorial in the Wiki of zbrush 3

feathers look great on the flamingo! very impressive. I also really like the render of the quadroped creature, would u mind telling how u went about rendering texturing and lighting him? great work man!

very nice :ex:

The neck sort of make the head seems small and makes the sculpt seem less intimdating. Also, I’d introduce some angularity, it’s a bit too smooth and curvy at the moment.

Phrost:. Thanks man I m glad you liked it and here is a pic showing the process of rendering the creature if you have any further questions I will gladly answer it I hope that helps

Nourti:. Thanks I m glad you find it very nice

TwitchMonkey:. Thanks for the suggestions I will work on the neck and try to get rid of the too much smoothness in it but what do you mean by adding angularity??

good rendaling!! thnks wip!!

did you make that highlights material yourself?.. it looks great… nice dramatic effect and obviously very useful for composite renders

how did you make those tiny details on the raptor? also can you show us direct link for the feather alpha i went to the tutorial but it dont show a download.

kobayashi:. You are most welcomed:D
SalmonGod:. Noooo I wish in my dreams:) its Arran J Lewis’s great contribution here is the link Thanks Arran!! http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=56692
rubent100:. I used Alphas of reptile skins with a standard brush 25 Zintensity and the brush style is drag rect and here is the link http://www.zbrush.info/docs/index.php/Image:Bop_Feather_alphas.jpg#file
