Possing Problems With Displacement Map after Combining Objects

Hey People!

Straight to the point, I’ve sculpted a surgeon’s hand. I need it to be able to pose and animate in Maya and rendered through Mental Ray. If you have an answer I’m looking for a technical explination for why this is and how can i fix it? I understand that this process is common practice. BTW, Displacement Maps really aren’t my thing at all.

I’m having some issues with my Displacement Maps not working right in Maya/MR.
With out combining them they look fine! However, once I combine them into a single object the Displacement map becomes broken (seen below).

My Displacement Map
UV Laid out with UV Master
6 Division’s = 2.589 Mil Poly’s

Object and Shader
Here is the Shader Network I generally use. It’s pretty much just what I get from GoZ. I also Included the Attribute Settings. I unchecked the “Featured Displacement” and that’s about it. I have a feeling it has something to do with the setting for the “Approx Method”

Ultimate Goal
These are intended to be used for product animation. If I can’t combined these and expect them to look right, then how can I pose and animate them? I have to keep it in Maya. I have little to no experience with the approximation editor if your answer is in regards to that.
