Is it possible to completely remove edgeloops? I’ve been modeling a character (trying to learn the program) and had used edgeloops, but now have found a better way to do what i need to do and would like to remove them and get the original surface back. Is this something that can be done or am i stuck?
…ctrl +z
thanks for the reply Frenchy but that’s not going to help.
This is a saved tool that i’m trying to remove the edgeloops from and there’s nothing to undo. If i use one of the earlier saves (pre-edgeloop), then all of the modeling I’ve done afterwards will be lost. i’m trying to just remove the edgeloops and not alter/delete any of the other work i’ve done.
ie (modeled A (containing the edgeloops), then B,C,D,E,F,G, etc. now need to remove the edgeloops in A without affecting B,C,D,E,F,G). But I’m not sure if this is possible.
Hopefully this makes things a bit more clear. Thanks
There’s currently no way to remove edge loops after you’ve progressed beyond the Undo stage.
That’s what i was afraid of.
Thanks for the info
The last post was a year ago. Is there a way to do it now with Zbrush 3.1?
Polygon editing is not Z3’s strong point.
You should probably look into Silo or Hexagon, or Blender.
