I just want to say that Zbrush really is an amazing tool, and that these forums are a great learning resource! Anyways, I was following the zphere hand tutorial, but I got stuck trying to get rid of this ugly red hemisphere. Is there a way to get rid of the base zphere?
The base (or Root) zsphere cannot be removed. You could try to incorporate the root into the rest of the arm or if you are not going to rely on the zspheres anymore, create a polymesh tool and delete the root zsphere geometry using Tool > Geometry > DelHidden (Delete Hidden).
