i’m doing my first zbrush model with subtools and i’m wondering what the best way to actually pose the model is since it’s not possible to edit multiple tools at once.
i tried merging the tools with the subtool master but when i try to mask the model it still seems to treat the tools that were previously separate like they are still separate.
any sugestions?
Sub-tool master has always worked well for me. The only time I have had a problem is when the models are not at the same sub-division level. They have to be. Now, however, there is usually an error message that pops up saying that. Did you get a error message?

still not really working. i can merge them whether or not they have the same number of subdivisions, but even when they are merged at the same subdivision level i still have problems masking the geometry.
