Hi.
I am studying the various possibilities ZB offers concerning posing models. I would like to ask what do people think about the comparison between the Transpose method and the Zsphere rigging system.
I ask this because I have some problems with Transpose, particularly in obtaining a precise topological masking and subsequent good deformation. Actually, also in the “Birth” tutorial, Rimasson says that often it is necessary “not only pose the model, but also to re-sculpt it, to have anatomically correct muscular deformations, compressions, and skin folds”.
By the other hand, Pixologic documentation affirms that ZSphere rigging “works superbly for bends such as knees, elbow and chest, however, it does not give you control over rotations such as rotating a wrist”.
So I would like to know from your experience if there are preferred workflows, and eventually Pros and Cons of the two techniques.
Thanks, ciao.
