Posing-detailing workflow

What is the worklow for posing and detailing? Should I add details like wrinkles in T-pose or is it better to pose a character first because of the deformations?

we need more information to help you. What is the end goal? 3D-printing, game character, single render, rigged character etc?

The end goal is to render some stills in high resolution for 2d printing.

in your case I would lay down major forms in Tpose. Pose the character and then make changes based on the new pose.
