pose rigid parts

is there a way to pose a rigid subtool ( for example a bracialet of an armature of a character) with transpose master and zsphere-rigging option without deforming it?
thank you in advance!

can anyone help me?

Mask off or hide everything else and only the one subtool will move. Or simply select the subtool in the subtool palette and move it. It sounds like you are a new user. I would get some books and watch some videos to learn how to do the simple stuff.

This isn’t currently possible with a ZSphere rig and Transpose Master. The simplest way to work is to exclude the subtool from TM by turning off its visibility, then move it into position using Transpose after transferring the pose to the body and other organic shapes.

@Marcus-civis:
it is a pity!what you have described, is the technique i’m used to doing, but it would be faster to pose all with zshere rigging.
i’m waiting for future improvement.
thank you!:wink:

@MR-NYM:
i’m new,it is right, but i studied a lot this beautiful program!:wink: i know how to pose or “transpose” a subtool.:rolleyes:
i was asking not for normal posing, but for the transpose master option and in particular for transpose master’s zsphere rig option where you can pose only organic tools and subtools.
you can do what i asked with the normal usage of the transpose master, but not with the zsphere option.
bye!:smiley:

I dunno, Zsphere rigs seem to cause more of a “rubber hose” type deformation. I dont know if I use it wrong or what but it only seems to be able to average a bend. So if you wanted a 90 degree bend in an arm it isn’t possible because it will average the bend into some sort of even arc. As far as I’ve seen zsphere rigging for posing anything is very limited as there is no system for weights. If there is a way to give joints an accurate and hard bend I would like to know it. And as transpose master and hard things, You will just have to use masks and transpose tools and hope for the best I think.

Ok,thank you!
