Polypainting with layers?

Hey all, I’ve looked through most of the tutorials here and elsewhere, and I haven’t found out if ZBrush allows you to polypaint on layers like layers in photoshop.

I prefer the photoshop way of adding a layer of texture or color and being able to turn it off if I don’t like the effect it gives me. Also possibly applying different blending options like in photoshop.

I know ZBrush is ZBrush and not photoshop. I just think this process is much more intuitive.

Aurick, if there isn’t a way to do this, will there be?

Hey Testure, I have bodypaint but there are no tutorials out there for it that I have found.

Do you know of any?:slight_smile:

hrm, there’s really not that much to it once you figure out what the basic buttons do. I just learned it by playing around one afternoon for the most part. Although I did see it used extensively in the latest BTS dvd from gnomon- Hard Surface Texturing.
