Polypainting>texturemap

How to get a highres. texturemap from polypainting?
I’ve imported a mesh with UV
I want a 2048 x 2048 texturemap from polypaint
I did put the sliders from the texturemenu at this resolution.
When I choose to make a new texture from polypainting, I get always a 1024 texturemap.
Anyone? Thanks!

Set the texture size you want in the Tool>UV Map submenu before pressing ‘New from Polypaint’ in the Tool>Texture Map submenu.

Polypainting is just amazing fast, like all other options.
