In polypainting how do you select an existing color off your partially painted mesh? In Photoshop it is as simple as as the ALT key and a click. I’ve looked for about 30 minutes and decided to bug the forum.
Thanks,
Pat

I would like to second this question as well. :o
Put cursor over the spot you want to sample and tap C key.
Thanks, I knew it would be simple! I’m loving ZBrush’s capapabilities, but it’s interface design is chaotic. It really demonstrates that some folks can get so used to something that is difficult that they don’t realize it could be easier. It’s obvious that the Pixologic folks have tons of good info on their site, but they could use a design intervention. I’m sure they are afraid they will alienate all the users that already know where everything is. They coul, like in Modo, have multiple interface options so legacy users could still use the layout that they are familiar with.
Thanks again for the speedy reply- I love this program’s capabilities!

Zber… your full of long and informative replies today. Your wall of text was so large I was hardly able to read it all!
 I like to get to the point!
lol well thank you for your reply to this post and my Last ^^
I have owned Zbrush since 3.0, I still have yet to fully grasp its workings. I suppose if I was in the industry It would be old hat by now. But in being a hobbyist I am able to take my time learning it.
I have come along way, but some basic functions still elude me.
