I exported my polypaint to photoshop to clean up my polypainted lines for a cartoon character model but when I put it back on the model I realized a line a drew was just a little short. I tried to just polypaint that little line segment but now it won’t let me paint onto that subtool with the texture. Is there a way to let me polypaint onto the texture map? basically replacing the texture information with the little tweak I need to do?
You can use the Tool: Polypaint: Polypaint from Texture option to turn the texture back into vertex colors / polypaint, and then fix it that way.
Alternatively, you can drop the model to Projection Master and then fix the line that way. Zbrush will automatically apply the result to the texture once you pick the model back up.
