Polypainting in Zbrush 4?

I’m pretty much a beginner, but I haven’t used Zbrush in quite some time and I’ve noticed there’s a ton of differences in how things work in Zbrush 4. I’m trying to polypaint a model that’s already been unwrapped, but I can’t figure out how to transfer the polypaint to texture, and it certainly doesn’t work like it used to. I’ve tried digging around the 'net for tuts, but I can’t seem to find any :frowning: Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You have to bake the polypaint onto the uv after you’re finished painting. First at the lowest subdision level have to go into the uv map menu under tools and create a 4096 texture map. Then import your uvs from the tool menu, or use the UV master plugin to get the UVs. Then at the highest subdivision level under tool in texture map click the new from polypaint button. To export the texture you need to clone txtr in texture map and then it’s accesible from the texture menu at the top of the screen where you can export it. Hope this works, good luck!

Thanks so much!!! It worked like a charm

Nice! Your welcome man.
