polypaint to texture issue

Hello everyone,

i have an issue that when i create a new texture from polypaint (Texture>New from polypaint) my original image:

I hope that there is simply a setting that i can switch that i dont know about ( i am quite the noob) the model has been divided 4 iterations.

perhaps i am not using zbrush the proper way in that it may not allow you to receive the type of quality when exporting texture into photoshop.

Anyway thank you for any assistance in this matter.

what do the UV’s look like? what size map are you trying to make? how many points are in your highest subD level?

i used 3dsmax 2011 to unwrap the uv’s (normalmapping Box) exported into zbrush 2048 map size, active points are 1.5 million

are you using polypainting layers?
