Polypaint on texture workflow help needed

Hi !

I am sure this question have been ask before but i don´t know wich keywords i should search :frowning:
Here is my problem.
I created a head with Phototexture in Facegen and exported as .obj . I can open the head and texture it without problems in ZB (flipping the texture to fit properly)
Now i want to use this texture as base and paint on it but i don´t know how. Maybe some good soul can enlighten me ?

  1. Subdivide your mesh so it is a high enough resolution for polypainting.
  2. Go to ‘Tool>Texture Map’ and apply the texture to the subtool.
  3. Go to ‘Tool>Polypaint’ and click ‘Polypaint From Texture’, then turn off the Texture Map.
  4. Do your polypainting.
  5. Go to ‘Tool>Texture Map>Create’ and click ‘New From Polypaint’.

Hi, Thank your for the explanation bu thow can i apply the texture to the subtool ?

i think i got the workflow…
