PolyPaint error

Hi everyone! this time I’m posting only because I have a problem that I can’t solve.
So, I’ve been working on a model for three days doing some hires details for displacements and color, spec and all the rest of maps. Until the last time I worked with my file everything was ok, but today a problem appeared. I just can’t transform the information in polypaint or masking in textures. This is very odd since the last time I worked with my file I did color maps with polypaint. The file hasn’t change since the last time I used. I tried to bake all the layers but I can’t get any result. I split polygroups and nothing.
I’m posting this since I didn’t find anything in the forum, so if someone can help me I appreciate it.

This is the first time I have this kind of problem doing characters…very weird.

Dont bake the layers,first create a new layer then try to bake all the layers and keep seeing on the model if anything changes when you bake it.Some times it happens if u do paint with layers on.
Or else duplicate ur model and try with that new one.Let me know if this works.

new from masking is broke. the new release should fix this.
for now your can save a new file.
fill your mesh with pure white
mask by cavity
invert mask
fill with pure black.
new from polypaint that will give you yhe same result…just a couple more steps.

RJ:thanks for answer, mate. unfortunely I already tried this one and nothing I’m still having the same error.
beta_channel: thanks! as I told you before, the problem is now with projecting polypaint info into a map. Painting the unmasked geometry was the first thing I tried but as I just told, I can’t bake any polypaint.

I repeat that I already made some textures for this project the last time I opened the file and I had no problems baking polypaint textures into maps. I did color and displacement maps with it just before holidays. Here’s a pic of what I’m getting when I try to bake.

your UVs look messed up to me.

nop. uv check works…I think everything is because UVs sets. The strange part is that it worked before holidays and now it seems broken.
My polygroups are done with UV set so when I hide, let’s say UV set 1 and 2 I can bake polypaint to textures, I’ve done 100s of times, but right now it doesn’t work, I just tried 5min ago when a new mesh with UVs sets…weird…I’m still looking for a solution

ahh. you didn’t say anything about extra UV regions.

I don’t mess with UV’s until I am done with a model so I can’t really help on that end. I do remember seeing an answer to this problem but I can’t remember what it is. Sorry.
