Thanks guys.

I rendered out another version which I comped using Nuke this time, I also tried to make her hairline a little less harsh.

If anyone is interested in my Hair workflow, it’s below. Cheers.

A couple of Zbrush tutorials I wrote for 3D World Magazine.

I made a tutorial showing how I sample the concept without having to go in and out of Spotlight.

Something I’m working on in my downtime, concept by Javier Burgos.

Christmas is almost here so here is a video and some WIP and screenshots from the Christmas commercial I worked on a few months ago for Red Knuckles, London. The client was Manor and Passion Paris. I helped with character modelling for the Mum, sales assistant and Santa’s son. I helped with some hair strip generation for him using the same techniques I demonstrated in my Zbrush hair tutorial.

It was a blast working with Red Knuckles for the third time and I hope we can do it again in the future.

Thanks, Vahid.

Double Post

Some work I did while contracting for Metapixel in collaboration with Scott Eaton. I took the RAW data from Reality Capture, cleaned up the mesh in Zbrush, retopologized the mesh, created UVs and painted out the errors in Mari and then baked out all the textures before the testing out the renders in Arnold.
Some WIP and test shots below.
The final video was created by Metapixel.

Pit Fighter feeling here… and this is a good thing!

Cheers man!

I’ve been experimenting in Zremesher 3.0 ever since Zbrush came out on the 5th of March and I’m throwing my findings up here because you can now get much better topology with the right planning. There’s a video and a tutorial you can download and refer to.

Cheers!
