Hi everybody
I have a tool with 7 Sdiv levels, I make a new Polygroup.
But If I go down to lower levels and come back to 7, I lose my polygroups.
I do something wrong?.. it is a bug?

You should always be making your polygroups on the lowest subdivision level. This is what happens if you don’t.
BTW… you should be posting this in the Other Questions And Troubleshooting Forum and not in the Main Forum.
Thanks you.
I am new in ZBCentral.
can I move this thread?
No problem!
A moderator will probably move it to that forum.
is there a polygroup alternative to isolate mesh parts?
I mean, I want to keep my lowest subD level, but it has not enough polygons or details to make a good polygroups to work with.
What can I do?
Thanks you
You could use masks, and save the masks as alphas. You will need UVs to be assigned, but it works just fine.
In Tool \ Masking submenu there are the Create Alpha and Mask by Alpha buttons.
Hope this helps

I use Polypaint from Polygroups to try and balance this out. Typically the polygroup will fritz out like that but the polypaint doesn’t (at least it’s been a while since it has to me) so you can swap them back and forth to help control things better.
how can you isolate a mesh part from a polypaint?
I think what he mean is that you can create new polygroups from your polypaint.
