Polygons messed up after clicking Dynamic Perspective

Hi i’m new here and i have this weird issue that the polygons get messed up in strange way. Basically this happens when i click Dynamic Perspective. Can anyone explain why it is happening or even better how to stop it in the future? I don’t know how to call it so i added 2 screenshots.

Hi @Darrok_Mark

Activating Dynamic Perspective mode should not alter your topology. My guess is that your tool is problematic or unstable in some fashion.

First thing, make sure it isn’t a visual gltich. Sometimes pixels can get sort of “stuck” on the screen in zbrush, but will refresh themselves once you navigate the model in any way. So be sure the topological change persists after you rotate your view.

Secondly, how large is your tool in the Zbrush worldpsace? The ideal working size in Zbrush are meshes that have a Tool > Geometry> Size> XYZ scale factor of 2. Meshes that are much larger or much smaller than this value may exhibit strange behavior. This video explains some of the reasons why.

If your mesh is reasonably sized, and you have discovered a repeatable issue with no other explanation, then this need to be reported to Pixologic Support, along with the steps to reproduce.

I figured out what i have to do. Basically this strange behavior is caused by some subtools that i had in the ztool. These subtools have been related with the background meaning the have been size-wise increased so that the dragon can stand on. I removed the flat water that had been scaled up + the plattform on which the dragon was on and it started looking normal as if nothing happened. I don’t believe that it’s normal to see such things happening. I do want to say thank you for trying to help me out. It’s greatly appreciated
