Poly/point count Reduction techniques.

Hi I have Learned how to use Zbrushes Normals and there intergration into my 3d app. I am wondering if there is a poly reduction I have missed I been through APE and I know to cut down the sub division. I use 2 or 3 and bring back the detail through Normals bumping displacement and diffusion.

which does a great job.

Is there any poly reduction tips anyone has to help?

or getting better topology on a low res mesh. or anything like that.

Polies are the quads. or points.

im using quads about 8100 in the best amount and performance and get good detail.

the 2100 poly model is nice but not enough of a base to be used.
