Has this happened to anyone else? My polish brush seems to stop working after a while, meaning it stops having any effect on the surface. Every other brush works fine, and when I restart zbrush the polish brush starts working again. Until it again stops functioning. Anyone had this experience before?
Yep same here … and if i change the brush ZBrush crashes. Problem is that for me it only happens like 3 out of 10 times.

Check your ram. Run something like memtest86 and make sure your ram is good.
Yes this did happen to me as well. I believe that it was the B>brushes>P>polish>H brush.
But this only happened to me on a particular file. I never did figure out what was going on but the polish bush wouldn’t do anything and then usually I knew that a crash was coming soon after. I’m glad I worked through it.
I love the brush by the way! 
Yep best brush ever. For some reason it just stopped causing trouble and crashes, so i can finally use it without betting on when the next crash will happen.
Just FYI, this also happens to other trim brushes like the Dynamic trim. so if the polish brush has no effect, then these other brushes wont either… Maybe it’s some kind of brush option that gets turned on for some reason… I don’t know
SAME HERE … “hpolish” good as other polish brushes stop working after a while and rarely cause to crash.

Reviving this thead, just recently the hPolish brush starts to act crazy, loosing all smoothing capabilty. I know this brush inside and out, no user error. It just starts making bumps with no reason. Any help greatly appreciated.
