Pokemon - Ash and Pikachu Diorama

My Pokemon fan-art sculpture, continuing my love for Nintendo after the Super Mario diorama! :video_game::joystick: I aimed to capture Ash and Pikachu’s adventurous spirit and dynamic battles, where every challenge is an opportunity to get better! Hope you like it!!

Huge thanks to my friends Daniel Bel , Matias Cabrera , and Leonel Sangiorgi for their support and advice, and to @Pablander for his “The Extra Mile 2.0” course, which was instrumental in creating this piece and achieving these results. Highly recommended!

This is very cool, Claudio.
I’m not a big fan of Pokemon but the dynamism and the sculpt itself it’s super nice.
I’ve been trying to follow your Youtube live videos with Daniel Bel. I watched a bit of a video where you explained some rendering techniques for this piece done in Marmoset Toolbag.
Do you consider the techniques and strategies you talk about are usable for other rendering software or just Marmoset?
Greetings from Mexico city, maybe you’ve seen my comments in the live chat at youtube, I’m Bob Z.

@RobZero Hey Bob! Thanks mate! Really glad you liked it!

Most of the techniques I explained in the video about ZBrush and exporting to Marmoset, and also the techniques used inside Marmoset, are usable in other rendering softwares (with their minor adaptations according to their interfaces).

The 3 key light setup, the UVs, the map exporting, the use of turntables according the pivot, are totally portable to other rendering engines as Eevee or Cycles on Blender, or Arnold in Maya.

But from all of those, for me Marmoset is the most easy and straight forward rendering software for showcase of this type of collectibles.

Hope it helps!

In any case feel free to ask, cheers!
Clau
