Since you get your money back if they don’t reach their goal, it’s a great marketing idea that seem to be catching on. Looks like their at about 21% of their goal (if using a ruler is any indication).

They’ll probably get a huge influx of users from this.
I bought in for $40 even though I have a v5 license.
It’s some great software.

any of you who bit & bought care to share a review regarding usability, stability, quality, etc, etc, etc? I’m tempted but I’m more of a sculptor than an animator so I don’t have much experience with what Messiah is offering. Seems like a good deal but how user friendly is it for a newbie? If this isn’t the best package for a newbie what is?

I just read about it over in the Silo Forum and went straight on to get it. nothing to loose and a lot to win here.

it’s much easier than blender 2.5 to get up and running and Messiah is darn good at displacement rendering, for sculptors who are mainly in zbrush all day long the autorigger will allow you to pose your character with ease and then you can use the rather nice renderer in messiah to make some nice global illumination renders of your scenes.

Its a very cheap way to get Animation into Modo with MDD suport.It will help them develop it more, and get a larger comminity. This means we learnt it faster.
