I installed decimation master and its not showing in my zplugin menu…
zbrush> ztsartup> zplugs
any suggestions.

What do you have in the ZPlugs folder? If you have a decimation master folder, you didn’t install it right. What you should have is the decimation master .zsc file and also the data folder. If those are within another folder then they’re too deep for ZBrush to see them.
Here’s a picture of what the correct installation of the various Pixologic plugins should look like. I’ve underlined the two parts of the Decimation Master installation so that you can easily spot them.

i guess i had a version that didnt work with zbrush3. i was trying to load a newer version for zbrush3.5 or 4 but
found the right version on izbrush.com…

The only safe place to download plugins for ZBrush is either the Download Center at www.pixologic.com or here at ZBC. No other sources are authorized for the plugins that have been released by Pixologic, and it’s possible that downloading from other sites will expose your computer to things you don’t want.
We do not currently have downloads available for version 3.1 as that version is no longer supported. Even the trial version has been removed from our site.
