Plug-in's Won;t Load

I’ve installed the Decimation and 3d Print plug-in’s and they don’t show up under the Zplugin menu.

The program was closed when I installed the plug-ins, and I’ve verified the files are where they ought to be, according to the install docs. Rebooting doesn’t solve the problem either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

system specs
OS
zbrush version?

also shoot up a screen shot of your zplug directory so we can make sure they are in the right folder…there are a couple of them.

If you use a PC it should be here>
C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush3\ZStartup\ZPlugs

2 core 3.21GHz Processor
8GB RAM
2 geForce 8800GT 1GBMB/ea. (3 monitor setup)

XP 64 OS
ZBrush 3.1

All of a sudden I couldn’t even start ZBrush. It would load, then close to the desktop, with no error message. Rebooted and no luck. After I went and ate dinner I tried it and everything worked just fine. Nothing has changed that I can tell. I definitely didn’t do anything to it. Maybe it had a funny interaction with Norton doing ome maintenance?.

Thanks anyway. !}

Please, read the documentation about the installation. This is typically an installation problem.
You must have a DecimationMaster.zsc file in the ZStartup/Zplug folder and also a DecimationMasterData folder in this same ZStartup/Zplug folder which include 3 files.

thudgun, that’s definitely something unusual happening with your system itself rather than ZBrush.

I’ve checked the original download and there are only 2 files in the data folder for Decimation. What is the third file supposed to be?
