pls tell me what im doing wrong with zspheres posing and exporting.

so i have a detailed mesh with multiple subdivisions and a nice finnished uv map.
ive used zspheres to rig and pose this mesh, and it deforms perfectly at low subdivision levels but not at high subdivision levels.
so having got the textured uved posed model just how i need it, i find i cannot export it without having to turn what started as a mesh— into a mesh.
so i hit make polymesh3d and now i have a mesh i can export but all my uv information is history.
can someone please offer me a way round this because i have no idea what on earth im doing wrong.
