In comparison with ZBrush 3.0 my 3.1 one doesen’t have in the Rigging palette the option Project. My new meshes don’t inherit any fine details from the original mesh. First I tought I need more vertices and I was adding and adding them in hundreds of thousends. Nothing has changed. I’ ve seen a tut made in ZB 3.0 where it’s author put around a detailed mesh only a simple web from maybe 60 vertices and it worked, his new mesh the details inherited. It’s probably a trivial problem, but I don’t know how to solve it. Thank you in advance.
Have you checked out the Retopology documentation at www.pixologic.com/docs or the videos in the ZClassroom (www.pixologic.com/zclassroom)
I think aurick hates Zbrush updates. A million questions about the same thing.
tool>project>turn project on>hit A>make adaptive skin…
Thank you and sorry or waisting your time aurick. Before asking here I browswed pixologic forums, Youtube, tuts everywhere /by Gnomon, Scott Spencer’s video to the theme/ - really rich sources but everything there was done in ZBrush 3.0 or about something else than my problem was.
Solution of my problem /I was missing the Projection button in the Rigging palette/ was very simple. The button has been moved from the Rigging palette out and now it is in Tool palette just under Topology palette.
Sometimes we can’t see thinks that are just in front o us.
