perhabs somebody can answer me this question:
I sculpted and polypaint a object at my work and saved it as a *ztl file, that same day i open that file at home so i can work on it further, a sword i sculpted and wich i gave a chrome color with gold inlay now appears black, no sign of the gold inlay? i can change the color black in chrome again but then everything will have the color chrome( but no sign of the gold inlay), so i have to polypaint them again? My question "How can i save a object i have gave the matcap color chrome and i have polypainted(at work) so i can open it in Zbrush(at home) without polypainting it all over again?
Both(at work an at home) is Zbrush 4(mac version).
i hope you can help me?

The chrome comes from a matcap materail or its a texture/polypaint ?
The only thing i can get from what you described is that before you save your ZTL, turn off the REC mode on any layers you have.
I found this to be causing some problems with polypaint. Layers are buggy in the current release.
I dont know if this is your problem, but… i hope to help!
hi Pimeto, the chrome is a matcap color, the gold color i used for the inlay is also a matcap color i used for polypainting.
