Please Help

Hi again guys

Running into a bit of a problem -

I recieved this .OBJ of a leg I been working on, as you can see it’s “boxed” with a CAD program like Rhino or something, for milling.

…now the cavity is the negative of the leg, I tried to texture this whole thing, box included but it does not seems to work, when I try to unwrap that whole box, I see the progress top left- “unwrapping polygroup 1/1, cutting handle 1/1…” but it stays there for hours and I eventually force quit…

Is there any way I can texture just the inside cavity of the box?

what are you unwrapping it in?

If you flip the polygons
tool>display properties>flip
you should be able to actually work on the object from a better perspective…as it were.

With only 56k tris unwrapping that object should be just fine. Depending on the need you should be able to use automatic unwrapping on that
tool>uv map>AUV, PUV, GUV…any of those should work unless you need a readable map, then you’ll have to do it by hand in another program, or you can try to get UVMaster to work for you.
