I installed ZBRUSH 3.1 last night and it was fine then this morning I tried loading it again and it wont load.
It just hangs on the opening startup and makes a error noise then I have to close it
what is causing this???
Any license issue it doesn’t hang, but brings up the register options. Other common issue is Zbrush needs to run as administrator mode on Vista 32bit, but doesn’t explain why it worked the first time and not now. Restart if you haven’t. I’ve had Zbrush suddenly block my license because it thinks something changed, but I didn’t do anything, and restarting fixes it.
Error noise? It actually played a sound, or did you mean a message?

What you are describing is not normal behavior. It sounds like you either have a problem with Windows or a bad installation.
I recommend that you first scan your system for viruses, spyware, etc.
If the problem persists, the next thing to try would be going to the Add/Remove Programs for your computer and clicking on ZBrush 3, followed by the option to delete/modify. You’ll be given the choice to repair. Try that.
If that still doesn’t work, then uninstall ZBrush and delete its folder. Then reinstall ZBrush. You’ll end up having to recover the license, but ZBrush will give you instructions for what to send to [email protected].
