Please Help - SVG files importing inverted

Hello all,

I really need help with this, as it has thrown a serious spanner in the works for me. I’m using Affinity Designer to make SVG files for use both in ZBrush and in other areas. When I export from there, and then import into ZBrush, the resulting SVG mesh is inverted. I’ve no idea why it is doing this, and as I don’t have much experience with vector applications, I really don’t know how I’d go about fixing it.

It might not actually be inverting things, it might actually be using each curve and simply inverting the mesh at each new curve added. I’ve tried uploading the SVG files here but it wont let me.

You have to zip them first and file size can’t be greater than 500 kb.

Go to “Tool > Display Properties” and click “Flip” button to flip the normals to see if that fixes it.

Something else you can try is go to https://lovesvg.com/ and download and try one of their free svg’s in ZBrush to see if you are exporting from Affinity correctly.
