Running ZBr 4R7 P1,in an IMac 10.10.3 Yosemite.
I am not able to record a movie using Timeline tracks. I can preview the movie by SHIFT+Clik. no problem
But when I SHIFT+CONTROL+Click to record, a window opens, asking me to save the file as .mpg. It does not give me any other choices.
If I click save nothing happens, it does not save any file . After I click save the window closes and zbrush frizzes, it doesn’t crash, but it does not record the movie or allow me to do any action. I have to escape to be able to work again .
I can record a turntable no problem.
I am running the latest update.
Any help really appreciated. !
I still have my old Mac with ZBrush 4R6 and I can record a movie there no problem
It’s working OK for me on 10.10.3 Yosemite, though you should note that due to technical restrictions export is now only as mpg with no options.
The latest version of ZBrush is 4R7 P3, so you should update. I advise you to do a clean install rather than using the updater. Hopefully that will then fix the problem for you.

I didn’t realize about the new update P3 since I upgraded a month ago or so. It was a brand new computer and I didn’t migrate anything, and a fresh Zbrush download I thought it was me doing something wrong!
I was having other issues too, and now they are all fixed!
